1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the EPD & LCA Data Extractor ("the Service") provided by Omega Orionis Oy ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is strictly intended for Business-to-Business (B2B) use.
2. Description of Service
The Service utilizes artificial intelligence (Large Language Models) to extract Global Warming Potential (GWP) values from EN 15804 compliant Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in PDF format. Users consume prepaid credits to perform these extractions.
3. Limitation of Liability (CRITICAL DISCLAIMER)
The Service is an AI-assisted data extraction tool, not an automated structural or environmental engineering authority.
- No Guarantee of Accuracy: While the Service strives for high accuracy, AI models may occasionally misinterpret, omit, or incorrectly format data from complex PDFs (hallucinations).
- User Verification Required: The User is strictly obligated to manually verify all extracted values against the original source document before using the data in any lifecycle assessments, structural calculations, or official reports.
- Exclusion of Damages: Under no circumstances shall Omega Orionis Oy be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of inaccurate, missing, or misinterpreted data provided by the Service.
- Maximum Liability: Omega Orionis Oy’s total aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User for the specific credits consumed during the disputed extraction.
4. Payments and Credits
All payments are securely processed through our Merchant of Record, Paddle. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. If the Service fails to process a document due to an internal server error, the credit will be automatically refunded to the User's balance.
5. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Tampere, Finland.
